As we start 2019 we want to spend time celebrating the new beginnings that God has invited us into. New Beginnings Sunday is a don’t miss gathering that highlights the stories of various community members. They will share with us about the new beginnings they’ve been invited into since joining our community. Together we will celebrate and make space to listen for the invitations God is placing before us.

At Genesis East we are committed to creating spaces where people feel informed and heard. We kindly ask that you would join us for our first annual church meeting on Wednesday January 9 at Hanifl Performing Arts Center. We will hear from the Pastoral Advisory Team as well as Lead Pastor Aaron Freer. We will share highlights from 2018 and explore what’s ahead for Genesis East in 2019.
Epiphany | What Say You God?
The word epiphany has a deep and historic resonance. It comes from the Greek epiphaneia, meaning appearance or manifestation. Epiphany is a season in the church calendar that lasts until the first day of Lent and is a season of new beginnings and awakenings. During the 2019 season of Epiphany we will follow various texts from the Revised Common Lectionary that highlight and point to God's voice. As we lean in to listen together we will ask the bold question, "What Say You God?
